मेंढकों का एक समूह जंगल से गुजर रहा था, उनमें से दो एक गहरे गड्ढे में गिर गए। जब दूसरे  मेंढकों  ने गड्ढे के चारों ओर भीड़ लगाई और देखा कि यह कितना गहरा है, तो उन्होंने दोनों मेंढकों से कहा कि उनके लिए कोई उम्मीद नहीं बची है।                      हालांकि,  दोनों   मेंढकों ने यह अनदेखी करने का फैसला किया कि अन्य क्या कह रहे थे और वे गड्ढे से बाहर निकलने की कोशिश करने लगे।                     उनके प्रयासों के बावजूद, गड्ढे के शीर्ष पर मेंढकों का समूह अभी भी कह रहा था कि उन्हें बस छोड़ देना चाहिए। कि वह इस से कभी बाहर नहीं निकल पाएंगे ।                      आखिरकार दोनों मेंढक में से एक मेंढक ने बाकी  मेंढकों    की बातों की ओर ध्यान दिया और उसने हार मान ली जिससे वह मर गया पर दूसरे मेंढक ने इतनी जोर से कूदना शुरू कर दिया जितनी उसमें क्षमता थी ।   फिर से ऊपर खड़े  म...
